Best coffee grinder for nuts? Mine just got mangled..

I've seen dried mango and dried papaya sold as powder and tried to grind some in my coffee grinder. Big no no. Totally destroyed the machine.

Does anyone have any recommendations for one they love that's great for nuts and seeds. My old one was pretty good, but I'm sure there are better ones as it sometimes took forever to grind up almonds. I've looked at the cheap appliance thread and saw what was written there, but wondered if anyone had any other opinions?

Look in the thread for "cheeeeep kitchen appliances". Shiva. recommended one, but I can't remember which it was! Boy, I HATE it when that happens! Good luck. I just bought a "Mr. coffee", but can't say it would hold up...it barely holds up to my almonds Not sure how long it will last before it croaks!

I use a Krups. I think it's great and doesn't cost a fortune though it is one of the better ones.

I ordered one yesterday. It's a kitchen aid..and I've never had any of their appliances, but it had the strongest motor, so gave it a shot.
