Hah! Guess you did hear about it. Not totally put it together. In short, I'm playing with a plan to get to 60 in the best condition I've ever been in. That will consist of eating with more awareness, training daily and focusing on creating multiple streams of passive income as well as doing what I love with teleclasses, work/playshops, my radio program(s), etc.

So far, I've done 3 days of training with little equipment. That consists of walking, calisthenics, qigong, clubs, dancing, hooping and rebounding. In other words moving whenever I have the chance.

I've also just ordered almost $500 worth of equipment from IronWoodyFitness. This I can use at the retreat, in home, or at a local park.

For food, Green smoothies daily. Raw, fresh fruit and veggie. I'm looking again at creating recipes twice a week as I did when I first started raw so whenever I'm home I'll have something delightful to eat.

I'm also doing a lot of mental/emotional work. Recently someone said I was "harsh" and that many people are not "thick-skinned". That got me to thinking. I'm not "thick-skinned" by any means. What I've learned to do is ~ raise my self-esteem and my self-confidence and learn not to take things personally. That has made my life sooooo easy and wonder-filled. This also is leading me to do a 4-week teleconference on self-esteem. Possibly in February.

My plan is to include anyone who REALLY wants to commit themselves to healing mentally, emotionally, physically and MAKE IT FUN!!!!

Oh! Through all this, I'm feeling to have a 3-day seminar, probably in October to bring it all together for the first year and get folk started BEFORE the new year doing more of what they want to do ~ And loving it.

Whew! This is all being downloaded as I type. I've not really planned much of this out yet. Just some ideas here and there while I've been out walking and when I wake up in the a.m.'s.

    There ya go lil goatie.

Nope, can't get much by me! Awareness....he he!!!

Revvell, just a thought to ponder....what happens after 60? As a suggestion: how about the rest of your healthy prosperous fun life that is physically immortal! ;)

Awe, your sweet! Nothing wrong with someone speaking their own truth.
I am going to check out the ironwoodyfitness. We use alot of magnetic products. (mattress pad, when we do Qi Gong, it's with magnets)

I really agree with the emotional/mental work! I feel that is where alot of problems are. People not releasing their stuff, can block alot of things up and it does make it harder for people to stay raw....an up hill battle, because food is so emotional and then people put stress on themselves. (only my opinion..... :) )

Good thing you did download this! Great information!

I am grateful we have met in cyberspace, Revvell to share higher ideas!

Thank you for sharing and I believe in your plan! I accept the path with you....oh, he he...was it offered? I do love your interviews though and you are a great asset to this board!

    Thank You also to Alissa!

    Prosperous health and blessings,

After 60, I start a 5-year plan to take me to 65. Gotta start small. Many are doing 30-day challenges. What happens after that? Another 30? Or maybe 60 or 90?

My teacher just finished a 5 year plan and is now doing a 3-year to take him to 60. I told him about mine ~ then he says that's his plan as well AND our 82-year old friend has started a 3 year plan to take her to 85! GMTA!!!!

The reason we are doing it this way is that, even though we are self-evaluating as we train ~ we can really look back after the 2, 3, or 5 years and evaluate at another level. Each 6 weeks or so, we'll change up much of what we're doing and even within the 6 weeks will be minor change-ups.

I am going to check out the ironwoodyfitness. We use alot of magnetic products. (mattress pad, when we do Qi Gong, it's with magnets)
Iron Woody is about using things like the old way ~ kettlebells, medicine balls, straps, etc. We can train anywhere ~ outside, especially. I was told when one uses kettlebells a lot one can be assured they will drop them eventually and working with them in an upstairs apartment...

Yep! And that's where my workbook comes in. Doing daily work/play with that allows folk to make better choices and find out why if they aren't. I'm using it myself!!!

Pam, I agree. You and FY are two of my greatest gifts this year. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing and I believe in your plan!
I don't. I KNOW it works. <grin> (you KNOW what I mean!) Seen it. Done it; doing it again only at a higher consciousness.

Hear! Hear! Without her and this board... and actually, beyond THAT as she's a real leader in the raw world being the epitomy of health, a successful woman in a working/playing relationship.

One of the things I speak about is that there are so few models for anyone to model (for lack of a better word). A successful woman, in a loving, supportive relationship, creating income doing what she loves. Now, how good is that?

Well, people of every age don't plan goals and outcomes yet, it's true, the older we get, I think we start thinking we "can't" or "shouldn't" more than ever..

Iron Woody is about using things like the old way ~ kettlebells, medicine balls, straps, etc.

They are. A good workout, lifting, twisting, throwing, swinging using light weight pretty much. I'm hoping when Bo gets time we can play with them together.

Well we can see that it's working for you! You splendid beauty! What a great testimonial! Like Alissa is also!
You are too kind. :) Since getting married been spending waaaaay too much time on my tush. I use to get out hiking, walking, dancing, lifting weights, etc. Back at it!

Higher consciousness comes with awareness and taking more responsibility for oneself!
And along with that comes more prosperity and the ability to handle it.

Hey, I would use this one and keep it simple. he he! As I am grateful that you already do that!
This one it is then. I've already got it going on. Just finished my 6th day with movement and more conscious eating; started the Prosperity Game; have lots more energy and feel lighter than I have in awhile.

We are on the breaking frontier of changing the planet and the humans on it. Getting ready for humanity to become the best we can in all areas of our lives. Taking the path to become examples of higher ideas and breaking down the walls of past systems.

We are making some positive changes in our lives also. 1. Clearing out things that don't serve us anymore. 2. Can't remain the same and change at the same time. Viewing change in a more positive light. 3. Watching "The Secret" once a week. 4. Having more "Green Smoothies". 5. Sitting down and really looking consciously at our lives and were we are going to on the next level.

Revvell, I have to ask: where do you find time? How do you get started with all this kind of stuff? To me, you do things that really matter and must be really fulfilling. Probably things that lots of people would love to do (like me lol) but don't know how or where to start, don't have the time or money needed, etc.

It would seem like the kind of stuff you do would require a lot of time, but wouldn't bring in enough money to live *when you first start out*. So how does one work a job just to pay the bills and then get involved in the kind of things that you're doing until they really get rolling to provide the kind of income one needs?

Or do I have it all wrong, and you made a good income from these things from the beginning?

Wow Shmoopie, you asked a loaded question.

No, what I do now didn't bring money at first. I started over 20 years ago. I really started on this path then but didn't know it. In order to get the training and to bring me to a level of receiving I had to go through 16 years of therapy. I was pretty messed up. In order to pay for this I had a full time job plus, in the evenings I delivered pizza (30 minutes or less or it's free) and got up 2 a.m. every day to deliver newspapers. (Therapy was costing me about $1200 per month when I finally ended it, plus I was paying my own rent, utilities, etc.) The pizza thing lasted 5 years I think and the newspapers ~ about twice that. Most people wont allow themselves to do those things yet, delivering in the morning was great not only for creating income but for insights as well.

Within those 20 years I started doing private bodywork sessions. At first I would go to peoples' homes. I hated it. So, I started having people come to me. That worked better. In order to get started doing this I was doing weekend expos, usually splitting the booth cost with at least one other person.
To make this long story short what ya got to do is what ya got to do. Most people I counsel/coach work full time and want to work on their own. The advice I give? Start with :15 - :30 per day. That's it. At the end of one week at :30 per day, one will have circulated 3 hours towards doing what they want to do.

The main thing here Shmoopie is, focus on what you want. Doors open; people you'd least expect will be there wanting to help you. You have to be open to them though and recognize opportunities. Ideas will begin flowing. Have pen and paper available to write them down. Find teleclasses and listen to them. There are lots of free ones where you can get many ideas. Mostly the free ones are lead-ins to their paid programs yet, you'll still get lots of ideas which you can implement.

Oh! you have to know the teleclasses are almost ALL long-distance. We pay I think, $20 per month extra for unlimited long distance. That way I can listen ~ and do ~ as many teleconferences/teleclasses as I want.

Connecting with people is so much easier now. When I started, it was harder to find clients/students, etc.

What is it you want to do? Where's your passion? Finding your passion and going for it will give you the energy to succeed. I go to quite a few networking meetings and it's interesting to see those who got into some multi-level marketing thing and are just in it for what they were told was easy money and those, like myself, who do something they love.

As far as time, I get up between 5 and 6 a.m.; shut down my 'puter between 6 and 8 p.m. I might do some writing after that yet, mostly it's time for me ~ and He, if he's home.

It's harder when one has children yet, many have done it. On the same station as I am on is The Business Mom. She's got her husband and two children. Wrote a book; is finishing another. Goes on book tours. Oh! He's supporting her emotionally, but not much financially. She's doing most of it on her own. Taking care of the family and creating her life.

    Does this help?

Yep, it helps - thanks. I don't know what I want to do. I'm a massage therapist but I work VERRRRRY part time (read: hardly ever). There are some little circumstances holding me back that could be easily solved, but more than any of that, I just don't really enjoy it. I like the "fixing stuff" aspect of it, but I see these therapists that have been doing it for 5-6 years and have knots in their arms that will never go away. People that did it for 20 years who have problems with their hands and wrists. I don't really wanna go there. I guess I just don't love it and as long as that's the case, I'm never going to commit to it fully so it feels like a waste to really jump into it at all. Meanwhile, I'm starting a pretty convenient job as soon as all the paperwork is done (which seems to be taking forever lol) just for money. I don't know what I want to do...I have too many ideas and they all require a lot of time which I welcome with open arms, but I guess I don't want to spend ten years in school to come out and realize (like with massage) that I chose something I don't truly want to do or feel fulfilled by. This, I'm sure, is what holds a lot of people back. So that's where I'm at.

Thank you for the advice though. It makes sense, and I appreciate it.

That's why I've pretty much stopped doing bodywork.

That doesn't necessarily have to happen. My teacher has been doing deep-tissue for 30+ years and it's not happening with him. It's all about practitioner positioning and knowing how to use one's body. But, this is just one excuse for not creating a full-on practice.

    I guess I just don't love it
This is closer to the truth. Question is, do you just not love it or do you dislike it?

and as long as that's the case, I'm never going to commit to it fully so it feels like a waste to really jump into it at all.
Yet, you're willing to start a "pretty convenient job ... just for money". How much time/effort you going to put into that?

It seems you have choices here. 1) continue what you are doing only do it better and get more clients. That way, you have time to find something you REALLY want to do. 2) take the convenient job and use it as a stepping stone while doing some personal work ~ looking at who you are and what you want to do. That alone can take 10 years yet, well worth the time and effort.

So you know, my work has evolved over the last 20+ years to what I'm doing now and I can see it evolving even more. I keep getting more and more ideas on books I want to write; radio shows I want to do... I was 36 when I started on this adventure.

My suggestion ~ just keep searching. I didn't even know there was anything to search for for the first 36 years of my life; it took me many years after that to learn I could have what I wanted; and years after that to find out what it was I wanted. As I say, it, and I, are still evolving only now, it's all fun.
