Thread: Nutmilk bags

    Default Nutmilk bags

I mentioned this on another thread but just in case you missed it...

I bought a nutmilk bag & it was a great buy as the kids can now squeeze - i.e. "milk" - the nutmilks out of the bag & love doing so...who says you need to visit a farm with cows to show urban kids where food comes from?! ;)

I like the idea of putting your kids to "work" in the kitchen. They learn so much. How to feed themselves, work with others (hopefully with parents), and simple judgements on how slow/fast to pour, eyeballing amounts, etc..

ABCL ~ the Boutenkos website has them for sale -- rawfamily.com -- and the description may include the material. I don't remember, but it's worth checking out.

Someone mentioned the paint strainer bags available at paint stores are much cheaper and work well, for under a $1 I think!
