    Default Onions taste - help!

I am very sensitive to onions and garlic, when I have even a very tiny bit of them I have onion taste in my mouth for the next 3 days. So I go to great lenghths to avoid them.

I the last few days I had ONION TASTE in my mouth. I am absolutely positive I did not have any accidentally, since I made my own food.

Here is what I have been eating the past few days:
fruit: apples, pears, grapes, mango, bananas.
veggies: carrots & carrot juice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, red peppers.
fats: olive oil, avocados, walnuts, flax seed crackers.
    other: salt, coco powder, honey.

They only things that were different the past few days are the flax seed crackers and the carrot juice, I may have had more carrots then before.

What can possibly be causing the onion taste!
I find it really irritating, it bothers me A LOT!
For now I am just eating fruit and it seems to be getting a bit better.

    Any ideas?

Onions are eaten by many as part of a raw food diet with no problems. I am only saying this because your body has become sensitive to onions. That said, your body could finally be riding itself through detox of onion chemicals that have been stored in your body. Another person spoke of tasting things she had not eaten in decades, as she was detoxing them. If this is so, within days it will be gone forever.

    Thank Doe,

My body was sensitive to onions before I went 100% raw (was high raw for a while), but it seems to me that the more raw and clean food I ate the more sensitive I became.
I do believe onions and garlic are poisonous, at least for me, they really make me miserable. I really envy those who don't have any issue with them, I don't even order salad in restaurants because I am afraid that some onions may get in accidentally. (happened before)

I suggest lots of juicy fruit and no salt.

(In my first year of raw, I included galric and onion in my diet. After three years of raw, I am sensitive enough to notice that my body does not really like it. No great loss. Things taste better without them anyway.)

    I admit it: I am a fruit lover!:p
