Has anyone ever lost inches, but not pounds?
It's the weirdest thing. In the past 2 weeks I have been mostly raw, at least 2 quarts of green smoothies every day, and not exercising at all. Sometimes I'd have a handful of wheat thins or something like that - but mostly raw.
I've lost an inch in my waist! But the scale has not budged one bit. My pants definitely fit me a little bit more lose in the waist. I'm not complaining, just wondering.

It sounds like you are shedding that outer layer of fat which, when gone, reveals muscle.
That happened to me too. I didn't have any weight to lose when going raw. I did lose fat, though, and yes, inches. I would think you'll notice a drop in weight very soon. The water-rich nature of raw may be keeping your weight steady on the scale, but you've actually lost a few pounds.
Good work, keep it up!
Best,

I've just experienced this myself. For ages (about 2 months) the scale stayed the same, but my clothes were getting baggy. Finally, I weighed again the other morning and had dropped 8.5 lbs! Very cool!

A 2 weeks, you're probably having relief of bloating caused by cooked food or a food sensitivity. I have sensitivities to everything that has to do with cooked food, but especially cane sugar and cereal grains. When I stopped eating them, my belly "pooch", which I always thought was fat, shrank to 1/2 size within 2-3 weeks. I had been all swollen and distended in the abdomen from these poisons!

Me! I feel a difference in my pants! Thats for sure. 7 days raw and I feel 1 inch smaller all the way around my legs. :)
I dont notice any weight loss yet.

Thanks you all,
My husband asked me if i wanted to keep my scales or throw them out.
I try not to use them as much as i use to because i get discouraged a lot from getting on them.
I feel smaller and my clothes fit better but the scales say i've gained a pound, i'm not 100% raw but around 85% and it's good to know that there can be a lost of inches and pounds.
Thanks for the encouragement

Yep! I lost pounds first then the inches. But I can also tell that I've gained a lot of muscle.

when i first went raw i found this too. i did the challenge and although my clothes etc... were getting looser i was still the same weight. however i did find the weight does come off, but the inches tend to come off first with me.
don't give up,
sal
