Abbreviations and Terminology - what does this mean??

There are some spelling variations I've being seeing lately, and it's (usually) obvious what they mean but I'm curious as to why people do it?

-Mylk
-Womyn
-Cheeze
-Smoozie

And plenty more that don't come to mind at the moment...

they use mylk instead of milk because most people see the word milk and think of animal milk. mylk is used to represent the liquid made from nuts.

womyn is another version of women... it's because they want to remove the word men.

not sure about cheeze although i'm thinking it's the same as mylk.

smoozie is Rev's term for smoothie. it's her thing.

This is used to describe alarmist stories that grab your attention about something truly horrible that supposedly just happened/is happening/will happen soon that somebody heard about and told somebody else who is telling you and now you want to call your best friend right now and tell them about it too because Oh My Gawd Ain't It Awful!!!

Allso known as CLWR!!! (Chicken Little Was Right!!!) stories, and, you guessed it, they are almost always bogus. But we do love a good scare, don't we?
