Default what if avocados used to be really sweet?

can you imagine? what if avocados used to be way more sugary and maybe they were a totally different color, imagine a bright red avocado, with a smooth, buttery light rose pink whip inside. i imagine the pollution, and other bad effects contributed to the sugar loss. imagine ...

    Default avocados

Oh, but I sooo LOVE them just the way they are! They have such an unsusual rich and earthy taste. YUM!

Maybe you have had a vision of some kind of fruit that exists in the luscious gardens of the afterlife, b/c what you described sounds like dessert off a tree

There are lots of rich tropical fruits that I would love to try. I'm sure some of them come close to your description.

    toocrazy,

just curious: what makes you think that?

Have you read something about that? I am just wondering why I should be thinking about a fruit being totally different than it is as I know it.

I LOVE avos. I don't think I would like them if they were sweet, because now I am not so much into sweet foods.

    cheers,

just imagine. i always wonder why, like other fruits, they aren't sweet. the way we live and the way we treat our world today i wouldn't doubt it no wonder most of the fruits are gone. but just imagine.. what if it was originally like a bright red fruit, and the inside was a buttery light pink. the flavor was like a strawberry whipped cream.

i wonder this because avos are not attractive on the outside like other fruits, its like they are missing something. i think avocados are beautiful, but i think they would be more beautiful if they didn't stay black and dark green, plus the smell is missing, i think most of the sugar is gone or has gone down over time ?!?! who knows !!?!? haha

I guess there has been a lot of change in fruits/veggies over the last many many many years.

I personally don't think that avos have ever been sweet - there is so much sweet, sugary fruit out there. But nature also needs fatty fruits like avos and durians.

There are many fruits who are pretty unobtrusive or ugly on the outside or smell strange or are really large or very tiny - nature must have had a reason for everything when thing's evolved.

    Personally, I don't wonder, I only enjoy
