    Default Motivation to stay raw

Since starting 100% raw a month ago occasionally I have doubts about my chosen lifestyle. Not because I crave cooked foods, (I don't) but because it is so different from mainstream.

So today, I was thinking about all the people I know, what they look like, what their health is like and what they eat. Most of them are overweigh or can lose a few pounds & constantly have some health problems. There were only 3 people that are thin & healthy. Amazingly, all 3 of them are high raw.

50 year old male. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. His wife complains that she can't keep enough fruit in the house. He does not even know about the raw food movement. He avoids all junk food and sais that he does not like the feeling he get eating a big heavy meal. He also avoids restaurants whenever possible. He does eat healthy cooked food meat & dairy. He also goes on short fasts sometimes.

45 year old female. Vegetarian over 20 years, avoids junk food, all fried food & wheat. Eat lots of fruit & veggies. She also eat cooked food (veggies, rice, beans) She sais that she never goes to any doctors because she feels healthy.

35 year old female. Registered holisting nutritionsit. Does workshops on nutrition. Eats a lot of greens. Eats both cooked & raw food. Avoids junk food, wheat, soy & dairy. Eat meat about once a month.

That was enough reinforcement for me. I actually look as healthy as all 3 of them after 2 years high raw. I am still stuggling with some issues, but no one can tell by looking at me.

So raw food diet is really worth it. Even if it is not 100% raw it is stil better then any other diet out there.
