    Actually, I read that deficiency of B6 may lead to inability to lose weight. Good source of B6? Bananas!

    Ah...yes when I was competing in bodybuilding I would supplement with B 6 the last few weeks before a show when weight loss tends to stall. It always helped me then. Interesting that Banana's are high in B6. I have been adding more to my diet and lost two pounds since I went from 1 to 2-3 a day two weeks ago !

    goal is to see this go down 3% (as they are not as accurate as they are consistant ! )

    My mom told me the only time a banana is truly ripe is when it's all the way brown.

    I think the ones that are truly ripe when all the way brown (or black) is the natural unadultered one. Not the ones that we eat, which are genetically modified I am led to believe.

    They are still a staple in my diet.

    I think that genetically modified is too strong a term. They are hybrids but not GM.
