In my bag today: oranges, apples and almonds. That's for the whole day at work. I eat what I want when I want, no specified lunch time for me.

Usually a pumpkin seed bar from Go Raw. If I don't have that, then a handful of whatever nuts I have in the house. Usually just that. If I think I'll be very hungry or it will be a long time till dinner, then I'll pack some raw veggies. Then again, I don't always eat lunch. Generally I only eat it if it will be a long time between breakfast and dinner or if I'm eating with my daughter.

Usually a big mixed salad. Sometimes a nice raw soup served chilled. Occasionally an entree from Alissa's book like one of my favorites--butternut squash noodles with curry sauce or stuffed collard leaves with a pate and lots of great veggies. Always leave a bag of fruit in the fridge to have for breaks/snacks during the week. Apples are top on my list right now although I go through stages and do banana, grape, or oranges depending on the mood. Also keep a small bag of almonds and another of raisins in my desk drawer as emergency "don't go for the candy bar" snacks.

    Fruit and lots of it!

Today at the office I ate the following: 1 bag red seedless grapes for breakfast. 3 persimmons, 6 medjool dates for lunch. 6 small bananas and 8 stalks of celery midafternoon.

When you eat those apples, be sure to chew up and swallow the seeds! They're filled with laetrile and protect your body from cancer, I've heard.

    Question What's on the menu?

It varies depending on how lazy I feel and how late I'm running in the morning. I try and prepare the night before, but don't always get to it. I often bring a big salad with all sorts of stuff in it, including nuts and maybe dried cranberries or raisins. I make either "Alissa's Favorite Dressing" or a ranch style dressing. I'll pack fruit and nuts to eat at my desk while working and sometimes RP's brownies or a good apple crisp to eat before the commute home. Sometimes I get fancy - like today I took all the fixin's to work and made lettuce wraps with marinated portabella mushroom slices and veggies and some nut cheese. I love, love. love to eat!!

Yani's chili (recipe in this forum)
    Pizza
    big salad and dressing
    cabbage rolls
    bananas and almond butter
lettuce or collard wrap (dice mushroom with favorite veggies, a dash of nama shoya mixed in a bowl. At lunch fill lettuce with mushroom mixture, wrap and enjoy!
nut burgers (healthisraw1 has a great recipe in this forum)

My job requires a lot of energy so I have to eat something filling or I will be starving at 2 in the morning when I get home. I have an insulated lunch bag and ice packs to keep things cool.

My husband makes me a big batch of gazpacho soup every week and I'll usually eat that several days in a row. I like to eat fat in the middle of the day so I usually chop up 1/2 an avocado and throw that in the tupperware too.

If not that, then I eat fruit, and a handful of nuts.
