    Trinity,

    Wow!

No, I'm not suffering from cancer nor is a loved one, I've just always believed (even before raw) that diet and exposure to toxins causes cancer (usually), and that a good diet and removing toxins can heal it. :)

Congratulations! Have you thought about making a webpage with your story on it?

    Kris

    Dear Kris,
I never thought of a web page:) Nice thought though:)

    Luckitri,
I used Ayurvedic Principles to attack cancer. Basically those types of cancers have to do with the blood and skin,(pitta dosha) so I used herbs and veggies that calmed, cooled and detoxed the blood. 1st I started just juicing greens and eating raw veggies and then I slowly added low sugar fruits. After a clean bill, I added nuts and ordered Alissa's book and a whole new world opened up as far as foods:). I would suggest green smoothies if I were doing it now though. That juicing is really extreme at least for me, but then again cancer is extreme as well:)

    Default Raw changes

I've really been working the raw thing more hard core these past few weeks than ever. The main thing I noticed the other day is that I don't have a huge desire for long hot baths anymore! I take a hot bath almost every night (I know, it's a water waster...sorry) but my body seems to feel cold and somewhat uncomfortable most of the time to where I ALWAYS want to be in a hot tub like a womb. I've soaked to the point that my legs are horribly dry, itchy and red and scabby due to scratching.

The past few nights I've soaked like normal (out of habit), but I didn't really want to be in there. I was more anxious to get OUT of the water and use cooler water for my shower. In a way, I didn't really like taking a bath. I'm really HAPPY about this b/c my skin just can't take the dryness anymore!

    Anyone else notice this?

Also, my digestion is better. I'm able to "go" regularly which I normally can't do b/c my body doesn't seem to be able to properly digest anything that's been processed

    Default the raw on cancer

I saw several of you positng about the cancer issue and the raw benefits.

I heard a radio show where Juliano said that "cancer" doesn't exist...what exists is the body screaming and crying for detoxing and nutrition. I agree

Also, I bought some tapes from Dr. Lorraine Day. She's a doctor who cured herself of cancer with the raw way of eating. I've watched some of her tapes and found them very enlightening. I bought them for my finace since both his parents had cancer. She says that disease cannot be fixed by doctors and hospitals, but by a raw way of eating and juicing.

I havn't researched her thoroughly, but here is her websit incase anyone is interested.
