Default I got a rawsome compliment today!

    Hello everyone,

I was so excited today. A lady who I was getting a massage from asked me how old I was and when I told her (I'm 37) she refused to believe me. She really thought I was joking. She wouldn't believe me until I showed her my ID. She said she thought I was in my early 20s! :-) YAY for raw!!! A few years ago (before raw) I definitely looked my age, if not older, believe me. Raw is awesome! I actually look forward to my birthdays now because each birthday is another year raw!!!

    Thanks for reading!!

    All the best,

    Audrey

    Chilove,

Just checked out your website, you look amazing!!!

How long have you been raw? What do you normally eat? High fat, low fat?
As a raw newbie (1 month 100%), I am really curious about what works for people in the long run.

Nicole, the first year I was raw I ate a typical raw gourmet type diet, anything goes. I did experience healing and weight loss, but the longer I was raw my body naturally gravitated towards wanting more simplicity and less fat. I let myself be guided by how I was feeling. If I was having some symptoms that I didn't want or like, I simplified my diet more and more, each time resulting in more health. I now eat a very simple, fruit based, very low fat diet and feel amazing. I eat mostly mono meals of fruit. I've been 100% for about 2 and 1/2 years and was mostly raw for about a year prior to that.

    Blessings!!

you do look beautiful....healthy and glowing....good for you....

i eat similar to how you described...and love it...the gourmet raw stopped working for me fairly quickly....i love eating mono....

i have been reading a lot of dr graham and resonate with his teachings...
are you doing 80 10 10? or do you just do fruit??

also, do you do fat with oils or avos or durian...things like that?? just curious...thanks

    Hi Meinleben,

I eat very similarly to 80/10/10. I highly respect Dr Graham and his teachings.

I eat mostly fruit with an occasional salad.

I limit my fats to about one avocado per week. If I eat more than that I feel sluggish and tired. Occasionaly I'll have a small amounts of nuts instead of the avo, but nuts seem to affect me even worse than avocados do.

    All the best,

    Audrey
