    Default combining specifics

I already have to combine my foods properly to avoid major bloating. I definitely don't eat fruits with anything else, and try to gravitate towards mono-eating of fruits for easier digestion. I have heard that green leafy vegetables can be combined with any foods including fruits. With that information, my questions are:

    1. is celery considered a green leafy vegetable, and therefore able to be combined with fruits?

    2. melons should be eaten alone, but can leafy vegetables digest with them? And if 1. is true, then can melons be eaten with celery???

If anyone understands what I am talking about, I would love to know the answer! Thanks!

I believe that you are correct. Celery is a green and can be combined with fruit.
You are incorrect about melons. They are a seperate grouping and for combining purposes can not be classified as fruit and should be eaten on their own. You can only combine melons withe other types of melon but with one exception.
Watermelons can not be combined with any other melon and should be kept seperate.

I had severe bloating before I introduced more raw into my life , and proper food combining and removed an IUD. I do comebine apples with kale,a nd celery pretty much daily and good get no bloating and excellent results and bowel moving. I was wondering what is a papaya considered, is it a melon?
I love papaya and can wat the whole thing. I will gain two pounds though if I eat the whole thing in one sitting. Why is this?

    ?
I would think that it should be classed as Sweet Fruit and combined that way.

    1. is celery considered a green leafy vegetable, and therefore able to be combined with fruits? Celery is a root stalk. It can eaten with most anything.

    2. melons should be eaten alone, but can leafy vegetables digest with them? And if 1. is true, then can melons be eaten with celery??? Yes melon is to be eaten alone. Do not eat them with greens. Melon is best eaten on a empty stomach. I have never heard that you could eat melons with celery as an exception. You may want to experiment with that one.

Side note: I do mix 1 melon at a time with my greens and other fruits in green smoothies without adverse effect thus far.

I do not think that you will experience an adverse effect from mixing melon with other things but the digestive enzymes needed to digest them will clash and so you will not derive the benifits that you should.
