Thread: Hi from the UK

    Smile Hi from the UK

    Hi,

I'm new to this website and forum, it is very inspiring to read all of your stories about going raw.

I have been thinking about going raw for some time, ever since I come across a website - [URL=http://shazzie.com] a few months ago - you may have seen it, the transformation of this young lady is pretty amazing!

It seems that "raw" is big in the US, I think it is starting to become more popular in the UK, but it is relatively unknown.

I would like to hear from other people from the UK, especially those that have been doing "raw" for some time, or others that are just starting out. It would be good to give and receive encouragement from others.

    Best wishes,

    Jules

A warm welcome to you Jules! May I cheer you on and say go for it! Raw living has changed my life already, in just 40 some odd days, and its blowing me away.
I came across Shazzie's site first also and she inspired me to no end...still does as does Alissa. Have you checked out The Fresh Network there in the UK?
Well, again welcome, and many blessings to you on your path ahead.
    Warmly~

Welcome for a native Californian who dreams of living in the UK someday.
    ( or Spain! )

Just thought I'd say hello - I LOVE Shazzie - and she inspired me to keep searching for something here to jump into and I found Alissa.

I JUST got Shazzie's book " Detox your World" as a gift from a dear friend - and I must say that I Highly recommend it.

Anyhow - welcome - and wishing you great success with the RAW lifestyle.

    Hi Jules
Welcome to the boards (from a relative Raw newcomer!). I found the book Eat Smart, Eat Raw by Kate Wood in our library, and she's a Brit. Definately more resources in the US - but, hey, we all speak the same language (kind of...lol!)

Good Luck with your Raw Journey!

Hi Jules, I am also in the UK and read this forum regularly. Haven't yet done "The Challenge" but seriously considering it. I have been eating a lot more raw, so just finding my way round - want to keep it simple.

Where do you get your fruit and veggies? What general area are you in? I am in the South East.

Good luck with your raw beginnings :)
