Okay, I just have to ask this...do the durians not smell anymore once they get over here to the US? I have been to Thailand a couple times, even lived there for 3 1/2 months, and I have to tell you once Durian entered the building EVERYONE knew it!Most of the hotels have signs telling you they don't allow durian to be brought into the building
Because of the smell I was never brave enough to try one. Both times I was in Thailand I wasn't raw, and now after hearing the raw community rave about durians I have decided to be brave when I go back there next April :) So, just curious.
