    Default My friend needs help!

    My friend has the following issues: she's anemic and on iron pills.
    big thyroid issue, on a multi vitamin, has NUMBNESS IN HER LEGS sometimes, and her KNEES and ELBOWS BURN. all advise would be very helpful as to what foods will benefit her most and anything else you've got for us! Thank you everyone- I know you'll have a wealth of info!

    What's she willing to do is the first thing.

    Get her on raw and LOTS of green smoothies. Also, for the iron issue there's LOTS of information on this site about that. Even some from me! :)

    I cannot emphasize enough to get her on sea veggies, blend them into the smoothies if you must if she doesn't like the taste, or get kelp or other sea veggies in capsules and take a load of them! Sea veggies contain some of the highest concentrations of of iodine and other nutrients necessary to get that thyroid functioning...
    Oh, and greens! Listen to Revvell. Parsely, fresh turnip, kale and chard. Raw in the blender with a bunch of fruit! Lots of iron in those greens.
