    Default Barley grass growing

I am quite competent at growing wheat and spelt but my barley grass has been a disaster. I followed the same rules as for wheatgrass; soak sprout spread on soil tray and cover but only mould. I will try with drier soil next time but does anyone have any advice for a barley grass novice please.
    Thanks

My barley grass has a higher tolerance for mold. Check and make sure your seed in specifically for grass. It should have the outer hull that has long points. You can get some good information from wheatgrasskits.com

I grow all my baby greens, grasses, pea/sunflower shoots using their method. It is super easy. Soak, spread over soil, cover w/ paper towels and let go!

Hope you have better luck next time.

I grow mine outside, then it never gets mold.
