Default can someone help me find this quote?

I love some of the quotes that I see at the bottom of peoples posts. Quite a while ago, I saw one that really struck me, but I didnt copy it down, and have been unable to find it again. I think it begins something like "It would never occur to a child...... and goes on with the idea that it would never occur to a child that animals are "food;" and rather how these other things, like fruit and herbs call out to our senses as food.... anyway it really struck me, and I see it as great "food for thought" for all of my non-vegan friends....if anyone can help me find it again--

    thanks very much

This may not be the one you're looking for, but I love this one:

I have this one on my rawfood myspace profile:

Never would it occur to a child that a sheep, a pig, a cow or a chicken was good to eat.

    I like this one also:

If any kid ever realized what was involved in factory farming they would never touch meat again.I was so moved by the intelligence, sense of fun and personalities of the animals I worked with on Babe that by the end of the film I was a vegetarian.

Mmmm, those were so good! Thank you all for sharing those!!!

I first went vegtarian when I was in h.s. my "parents" were against the idea . But after reading Fit for Life, I quoted Harvey to my dad and said, " If you see a cow in the field do you suddenly get this huge urge to go suck on it's udders???" After I said that....yep they let me be a vegetarian. ha ha
