Default I'm dealing with a lot of mucus in my throat.

I feel terrible, i drank fome laxative tea but i need to know has anyone had this problem with mucus?
When i take a deep breath through my mouth i hear a deep sound coming from my thoat, it's not sore or anything but i can breath though my nose but not too well if i do it with my mouth open.
Sounds funny but i'm also talking funny like i hoarse.
Can someone tell me what can i take to help move this mucus out of my throat?
    Thanks

Default Thank you, thank you so much

:) That's what i'm doing now, i drank some tea for the immune system and drinking the water off of onions and lemons.
    I feel a lot better.
I didn't think that mucus could make you dizzy, unsteady on your feet and listless but it did all of that.
You are so sweet to help me out at this last hour ))HUGS)) to you.

Sounds like it could be drainage. I'd try water with lemon in it.

The first time I tried to detox a few years ago, I drank a cup of Laci Le Beau tea (I know now it's not vegen). OH...MY....GOD....I was SO sick for about 7 hours. I swear if there was an orrifice available something was happening.

And yes, mucus was a big part of that.

Since then, I have almost eliminated all dairy and my mucus problems completely vanished.

Default When i woke up this morning i felt much better but...

my voice sounded so hoarse, it was a strain to talk but no sore throat, happy about that.
I continued to drink onion, lemon and honey juice and really that did help.
I haven't drank milk or had any dairy products in over 18 years but prior to that i loved milk and ice cream.
    Thanks for the help, everyone.
I going to lay around and rest today, i feel weak but i did have a little energy earlier but it didn't last long.

When I have a buildup of mucous (allergies) it tends to settle into my lungs so I like to make slippery elm bark powder into a tea - it clears out my lungs of the accumulated mucous. It is also a powerful but extremely gentle laxative. Generally I can get allergic symptoms of runny nose etc when my bowels are backed up. The runny nose - mucous is the symptom - no pain in abdomen - when the slippery elm gets my bowels to move the allergy type symptoms clear up. Slippery elm is mucousy in itself so alot of people don't like it. Add cinnamon and honey if you wish and just get er done! er down! I have relied on this for many years to maintain some semblance of health.

Dr. Graham has stated that onions and lemons are mucus forming, not mucus dissolving.

I don't remember specifically getting mucus from eating those, but if my diet was that pure (which it's not) and I did eat them, I am sure I would be able to tell the difference.

Raw Nora might have some good input on this.

Default I've had lots of mucus in my head and chest area.

For the last week i've been dealing with this detox and the mucus is so thick that it is just staying in those areas. I've had a dry cough for the last 4 days and just now it seems to be trying to break up slowly.
Also my throat is raw, it's like knives sticking up from the bottom of my throat, i've gargled with salt water, basil tea, cayanne pepper nothing seems to help it go away and stay.
    Any ideas?

Lemon and Ginger in warm or hot water has helped me in the past. It is good to have in the morning.
