Smile simple daily eating plan to lose the weight

Hi, I'm new to this, so bear with me. There's a website by Jenny Silliman: healthseeker@associate.com. She lost a lot of excess weight by eating raw and simply. Breakfast was a veggie juice and fruit. Lunch was another veggie juice (mainly green with apple and carrot thrown in). She'd eat only a handful of soaked nuts and seeds a day, some ground flax in water ,for oils. (it's better in juice) She'd snack on fruit till dinner. Dinner was a huge variety veggie salad. Finally, no eating after supper. During the day she'd drink plenty of water. I bet it would be easy to lose 10-15 pounds doing this! :)

That sounds like a good choice if you feel that you can do it but it would require a lot of self control and you probably would not stick with it long term.
An easier way to go would be to try it Alyssa's way and do the 30 day challange but eat what you want as long as it is raw.

I'm with you on that, sport.

Eat anything you want, as long as it's raw.

I went from 165 to 140 lbs in about 6 months. At 5'8" that was a lot to lose in a little while, but obviously it needed to go (detoxing), and my weight loss slowed and then came up to 147 over a few more months and stabilized. I looked leaner after that, but not gaunt.

If you feel hungry or deprived/resentful, it's too easy to slip up.

That is the basic diet that I've been doing now for 10 months. It is doable if you have the desire to do it. If you have allot to lose -- as in you are morbidly obese as I *was* --then you might be faced with the choice of this diet or gastric bypass surgery. I figured this was safer than GB and requires the same amount of "willpower" (just look at how many fat GB patients there are because they managed to stretch their stomach again).

If you are only looking to lose 15 to 20 pounds then maybe you don't have the same level of desparation and thus it might not be as easy to do this kind of diet.

Oh, and there's no hunger involved -- eat when you are hungry and eat until you are full. Keep the fat low (below 20%) and your calories above 1000 (you'll be surprised at how much you have to eat to do that!).

100% raw works on many levels. But, you have to want it bad enough to make the sacrifices. How bad do you want it?

Frecs-->110lbs lighter than I was 10 months ago...
