    Default Results already?

I've only been 100% for three days (about 75% for a week) but things are happening already!

The alarm went off at 5:30 am for my husband to get up. I have been so tired and unenergetic for the last few months I usually just lie there, not getting up but dozing while he showers, dresses, etc. As soon as he leaves I go back to sleep for two or three hours and drag myself up, still exhausted.

Not today! The alarm went off and I laid there for a few minutes and I realized I wasn't tired. I got up and made him breakfast and a lunch. He asked what I was feeling so "frisky" about ( I was even jumping around, messing with our dog). I said "I feel good this morning."

After he left I put in Alissa's DVD I received yesterday and watched it all.

Then took my dog out for a walk and while I was walking along I noticed I could smell the fall...you know, leaves, fireplaces, crisp autumn air. I thought, can I already smell things better?

After that I went to the grocery store. As I was walking down the spice aisle I found that I was smelling the spices, esp. the garlic salt.! A really strong smell. That's when I knew it wasn't in my head.

Well, I made the mistake of not eating breakfast and I was starving so I went on over to the deli section. The fried chicken almost got me but I resisted and went on over to the salad section, the only thing they had that I was half way sure I could eat was an Apple Wardolf Salad.

I have to tell you that I sat out in my car and ate that salad and it was SO good...apples, walnuts, coconut, grapes...now I am sure it was not organic and I don't know what the dressing was but I was so proud of myself for passing up the chicken, and the potato salad and macaroni salad and to actually eat something I would of never ate before. And to eat it s-l-ow-l-y instead of shoving it in my mouth, mindlessly.

Sorry this is so long but just can't believe the results I am getting already.

    Default Mayonaise!?!

Hi, again. I just looked up the recipe for my waldorf salad and the dressing must have been mayonaise. So guess I won't be buying that again but hoping I can come up with a raw version.

That's great Julie! That's definately results! That is one of the first things I notice if I slip and eat cooked, I loose that morning energy. My smell greatly increased as well. It only gets better! :)

    Julie,
That is wonderful that your resisted. Yes, you can get amazing results quickly sometimes. There are lots of dressing recipes floating around. There is one in Alissa's book if you have it. I just made it the other day. One word of caution... when making the mayo... use grape seed oil or something mellow instead of olive oil. It gave the mayo a strange flavor. Keep up the good work!
