Default dropping out to start something else...

Sorry folks, I'm dropping out of this contest. Started a water-fast yesterday morning, so wish me luck. Shooting for 30 days. Hoping to permanently cure a chronic back problem.

    Good luck to you all!

It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.

Hi....you can get more protein by upping your greens. As an example.......Spinach is 46% protein and Beef (not that we eat that) is like 23% so why anyone thinks animals have more protein is crazy. You get so much protein in veggies. You never have to worry about not eating enough protein if you eat veggies. Heck, even fruit has protein. What we Americans should worry about is eating too much protein not worrying about eating too little. I'm telling you the truth.:)

You'll be missed Tom. I imagine water-fasting is quite difficult. Hang in there, and the very best wishes coming your way!

    Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!

I just got in from my Saturday morning FIT walk that I lead each week for the American Heart Association. It was a beautiful morning but a little cold....brrrr!But we started at 6:30 and the sky was clear and filled with sooooo....many stars and we enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise.

So far I am trying to finish my green smoothie- frozen drink not appealing because I am shivering still from the walk........for those of you in the North....you can giggle at me when I tell you that I am whining because it was 48-50 degrees this morning-haha but let me tell you that it was 84 degrees two days ago- my body is trying to adjust!!!!

I weighed in at 142- 2.5 lbs down this week ;-)

Meal #1- Green Smoothie (Banana, 1 cup blueberries, 1 package of Green Vibrance(I was out of Kale) Almond Milk)

Wishing everyone a beautiful day....will check in later!

Meal #2 - Raw Chili topped with diced avocado warmed in the dehydrator-YUMMY- Incredibly full ...but not bloated

Meal #3- Gala apple slices and red grapes and a few brazil nuts

Meal #4-6 On my way to a bonfire tonight....bringing veggie tray, fruit tray, coleslaw and a SAD 7 layer dip (not for me!!!!) how'bout us gettin creative and coming up with a 7 layer dip- yummy!!!!! MARAW.....how bout you? You are quite the creative chef

You all have a great evening- I will touch base after church on Sunday- GOOD NIGHT ;)

I am with you on the cold. I hate the cold. Once it gets down to the 50's I don't go out unless I have to. And I live in the north! Great job on the weight loss.

I made the fruit leather and it is so good. I am going to make another one for tomorrow. We have a very busy weekend. I am down 3 lbs this week. I love eating the low fat way. It is nice to have the weight come off again.

Hi! Another beautiful Saturday in paradise. We're staying here for the weekend, so I get to have some unexpected playtime with my children. Looking forward to that!

This morning I had a banana - and some left-overs from last night. I feel the need for warm food today - I think I'll make some chili this afternoon. Thanks for the inspiration FF!

it's raining, and my parents are up at NYU for visiting weekend!

Ok.... after lots of post readings from rawnora, EYB, Vandy and others... I am going to attempt 811 today. Attempting this has always been a challenge for me, and ESPECIALLY today because we are going to Pure Food and Wine tonight with my family! And I initiated that. I'll have to get a salad with dressing on the side and just eat the lettuce.... we could have gone anywhere for me to do that! Somewhere my dad likes! hahaha.

Good luck guys! Keep it UP!

    start: 117
    today: 116
    goal: 107

    FF,

I just did one with bananas, mango, pear, and lots of spinach. It was really green and looked disgusting but tasted delicious. My husband even liked it.

    Thanks!
