Yes, we all survived this weekend's Provoking Pizza Predicament.

I'm down 1/2 a pound, but I'm hungry like yesterday. I feel like I'm living for my evening avocado fix these days, but now I'm out of avocadoes. I might make a salad dressing from tahini this evening; I don't know if I'll be able to get to the store to buy any more avocadoes.

    Default update on daughter's lunch...

So, when I picked my daughter up from school today, I asked her how she liked her lunch. She was SO excited! She told me that several of the teachers came up to her table to tell her how delicious her lunch looked and how proud they were that she was eating so well. I couldn't have paid them to do better! Wow! It was wonderful. She was just beaming. She said she wanted it again tomorrow.

Now realistically, I fully realize that this may be a temporary situation. But I am hopeful that it will make an impression on her that is lasting. In the meantime, I am trying to come up with various menu items that pack well that she likes!

Keep your fingers crossed and keep the prayers coming everyone!

This summer my 6yo ordered water and broccoli at a restaurant. The waiter was shocked and made a big deal about how healthy she was. She is still eating healthy! She just loves to shock people about the way she eats. She loves the attention.

Where is everyone today? How have you all been doing? I am doing good. I was at 149 today! Woohoo!!!! I hope to be out of 150's forever this time. I have been enjoying what I have been eating lately. Today I ate a whole pineapple, a couple of smoothies, mangos, and a HUGE salad. My fat intake is still up too high. I am at 20% but just can't seem to eat just half of an avocado .

You're right! It looks like everyone has dropped off the earth today. Maybe they will climb back on tomorrow. I'm still here Mango, just been kind of busy today - had a really good raw day today, and I needed that. Not too much heavy food, and very little fat. It's hard to remember just what I ate today, but I'll try.

    banana
    2 carrots
    handful of cashews
    few raisins
raw soup: peas, carrots, corn, almond milk, cilantro, avocado
    I'm done!
Oh, and lots of water. :)

I am here....just crazy with not feeling well and 2 kiddo's sick and hubby out of town!

I am trying to take it easy with my food intake- my slips this past week with the b-days.....not so good! I did get on the scale- it really depressed me. I think I need to focus on healing and not on the details of my food right now. It was starting to make me anxious- does anyone else to feel that way?

Joke of the day: (No, I am not running a fever-just stuck in the house with kid's)

I was back up a half pound today. I did great all day, all fruit, but I've been so draggy all day and craving things like crazy! So I . . . ended up cheating this evening. Not horribly, but not raw, either. Hopefully I'll do better tomorrow.

I was feeling the same way over the weekend Pailani. I was craving so badly that I wanted to throw in the towel with raw. Fortunately I made it through. I am feeling great today. Loads of energy and determination. Keep going.....we can do this!

It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.

I just love the cheering! Keep it up LAG - looks like we really need it 'round here! I know I do!

Well, I did have a good day yesterday, but really ate WAY too much of that soup. Don't know why - just did. I got on the scale this a.m. and gained a pound and a half! Increadible. I am focusing on raw, which is good, but I'm not focusing on weight loss at the same time. I need more greens. Looking back at what I've eaten, there are NO greens anywhere to be found! Horrible - shame on me. Well, that's about to change.

Hey, LAG - can you come up with some kind of cheer or mantra for eating greens that I can repeat in my head when mealtime comes around?

I'm still hanging in there, my cheat last night ended there, it didn't trigger a bad slip. But I am getting discouraged - no weight loss, and I'm a bit draggy the past few days. I've been having a whole avocado in my evening salad all week, maybe that's the culprit.

So, how is everyone doing? I know I've gained a few pounds... and yet, Thanksgiving is only a week or so away. Maybe it was too ambitious of me to try and do this during the cold holiday season.

I'm still striving for 15 pounds before Christmas - anyone with me?
