Which juicer?
I am getting ready to invest in a juicer, but one question I have I don't seem to be able to answer...Which juicers have a citrus attachment? I know my mom had a juicer when I was a child that had a specific citrus attachment, is this not necessary? We would love to not have to buy a second juicer specifically for this :)

I ordered my juicer from www.discountjuicers.com I remember seeing one there that has a critus juicer attachment. Hope this helps. :)

Omega Juicer?
I have an Omega but don't have attachment for juicing oranges- citrus attachment.
Lots of machines that take attachments, which machine do you have that you are you looking for, for the attachment?

The Vita Mix makes what they call whole juice, and you can juice oranges and anything you like in it, there is no pulp to toss, but personally, I think the juice is too thick.
I also have a salton centrifugal juicer, which has a citrus juicer attachment, however, when I used it to make carrot juice many times in the past, the juice always turned within an hour or so, kind of metal tasting.
Now that I have a champion juicer, it never tastes like metal, and lasts about 24 hours or so. So I am sure that the centrifugal type of juicer must warm up the veggies way too much for raw.
I never use my salton centrifugal juicer anymore because the juice just doesn't taste a clean, or maybe the word is clear as it does when it comes out of the champion.
So, my juicer of choice is the Champion juicer, and you can make banana ice cream out of frozen bananas with the blank plate on, it is so easy, nothing but frozen bananas, and any other fruit you want and you have fresh ice cream.
I have a little hand held citrus juicer, cost about $5, that my hubby makes orange juice with every morning for me. We also have an electric one, but he says it is easier to use the hand held one than to clean the other one. His choice.
Good luck in your choices.
Let us know which one you buy, and how you like it.

I have an Omega 8005 and love it (paid $237 for it -- it's good to order from a place with free shipping online -- no tax). I don't think you need a citrus attachment -- just peel the fruit and toss it in the hopper. It will pull the juice out without the pulp.
