Lecture from: Paul Nison
Website: www.paulnison.com
Place: Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 22/10/2006

* Criteria for choosing your food
- Raw/Wild
- Fresh
- Ripe
- Organic
* Preconditions of illness:
- Being Lazy (!)
- Constipation
Remember:
- Most people overeat, they eat to much and sleep to less. there is a relation between these 2 points.
* Nice point:
Eating is not the most important: Some people eating "SAD", are better of with their health than others eating raw, whenthese latter are in a combinations of the following conditions: a) eat to much b) sleep to less c) not exercsing enough d) chewing not well
* Reason for following lectures: Nobody comes to his lectures for nutritioninfo, what people really want:
You can't win people for the rawfooditems if you put the emphesis on nutrition, try to make a link between rawfood and the following:
1) being cured of illness;
2) prevent illness
3) being/looking healthy and young
Definition for healthy eating: getting in as much nutrients as possible (not as much food as possibel!) with using as less energy as possible (digestion) and with keeping the body clean (fungus, putrification etc..)
Supplemets to take:
Vit D
Vit B12
Probiotica
Enzymes

* What is your comment on this?
* Someone wants to put at this place a lecture he/she did follow?

LightLover,
I found this point interesting and of a great pedagogically value. This is the core of nutrition change in a nutshell!
Nutritional science is still embryonic and fragmentary with the emphasis on nutritional details.
That's the reason why information on nutrition only has a marginal influence on people´s food habits:
People are not interested in the details of the food, unless they want to stay SAD and only make small trials;
vitamines and omega hither and thither. They discover soon that they get no appreciable results of such supplements.
People want more and more rapid end results and nothing else matter:
1) being cured of illness;
2) prevent illness
3) being/looking healthy and young
This is the result of a holistic path, where raw food is an important part.
The raw food movement, still in the beginning, is far ahead of nutritional science concerning practical results.
And the rift will broaden month after month, until the science eventually choice the holistic path by looking at
all these thousands of substances in a living cell as a symphony.
-------------
Some of you may find my words anti-intellectual and anti-science. They are not, I am dedicated to science myself,
but I can see fields where science is a hindrance to development, tragically where people are obstructed
to fulfill their destinations and live a sublimely life.
