Default Carrot greens, brown rice, Ezekiel 4:9

Ok, just a few questions here....

    1. I bought some carrots with the greens on. Can you eat the greens? Are they tasty?

    2. Can you sprout brown rice? iI so, how long does it take?

    3. I have this multigrain cereal by food for life called Ezekiel 4:9, and it says all the grains are sprouted, and the cereal is "slow-baked" to preserve nutrients. does anyone know if this cereal is raw or not?

and also, my raw book hasn't come in yet, and I'm wondering if anyone has a table of sprouting times--like how long you have to sprout certain grains and nuts.

    thanks! :)

Carrot greens are more nutritious than the carrot itself. Victoria Bouteko's book "Green for Life" has a chart listing nutrition of greens/vs root vegetable. So, they are an excellent addition to a smoothie!!!

I sent an email to the maker of Ezekial (twice) asking them the question about what temp it is slow baked..they never responded. I am assuming it is not raw.

oh well. so much for cereal. i'm trying to find a cheap dehydrator so i can make some grawnola. i'm on day 1 and i worked a double at p.f. changs today!! it didnt go so hot the 2nd half of the day, cuz i'm not used to digesting those light meals so quickly....but tommorow is another day. and i console myself with the idea that even if i'm 80% raw, and 90% vegan, i'm still way better off than most. i'm trying to get myself grossed out on cheese, cuz i'm totally addicted to that stuff!
