    Au contraire my friend. I make smoothies with bananas, o.j. and strawberries all the time! Also, banana/strawberrie "ice cream" is yummmmy and feeels soooo good! :)

    Various foods require different digestive juices and enzymes, and require different lenghts of time for digestion. So, for optimal digestion and assimilation, foods should be consumed in simple and compatible combinations. "Sweet fruits" such as bananas, papaya, grapes, dates, figs and prunes should not be combined with "Acid Fruits" like strawberries, citrus, pineapple or cranberry.

    Operative word here is "should". If I lived by other peoples' "shoulds" or "should nots" life would be dreary at best.
