    Default Woot! Ordered Alissa's book this morning

    Okay! I just ordered Alissa's book and started to clean up my eating last week and gradually eat more and more raw as I wait for her book to arrive. Also while waiting for the book I am getting recipes from different web sites to try and some here to. I really appreciate all you folks encouragement you bring to this forum, keep it up for us newbies. :)

    Hey, good for you! That is great you ordered the book. I haven't ordered it myself yet but it is definately a priority for me and something I will be ordering in the near future as soon as I can get enough money. Did you order the DVD and book or just the book? Looking recipes up online is really helpful too but I think having a book is nice because it's convenient and you can keep it in the kitchen with you. Good luck on your path to raw euphoria and keep up the good work!

    Just the book for now. lol I have never bought a dvd player yet so the dvd will have to wait.

    Good morning Curtis! Just thought I would ask if there were any problems with the ordering due to the hurricane thing? Also I am wondering if anyone here knows if I could get the book shipped internationally and what the charge is for that? Thanks!

    Hmm the order went thru okay, and I believe Alissa came in here recently and said they were okay. This is on her order page:

    For lowest shipping charges, please place all international and Canadian orders by phone. 1-978-985-7217.

    Hi Marigold, I am in Switzerland. I would imagine shipping to the UK and shipping here would probably be the same or pretty similar. Do you rememember what you paid for shipping or what your total order came out to?

    analeah - it came to £35..which i guess is a lot but i wanted it enough it was worth it..no one here stocks it...i have gone through most of the raw recipe books - when i read her article in the uk mag i really like the recipes..i love hte energy of the book..its a nice book too..glossy and big and recipes great...

    Hmm, that is about 70USD? Was that for the book and DVD or for just the book? Also, how long did it take to arrive from when you placed the order? I just placed a raw food order at rawfood.com and it has been about a month now and I have received nothing so I am a little discouraged.

    Hi guys,
    No problem with the orders. The hurricane has passed and all is back to normal!
    Just call and place the order by phone for international orders. They get there pretty quick! Its 34.00 to most areas, UK, etc... 32.00 to Australia. Its 4 1/2 pounds so it’s heavy!
    Also, getfresh! Is our UK distributor, so you can contact them, they have the book and the DVDs.
