Default If you just had three months to live...

If you are not suscribed to Frederic Patenaude's newsletter or if you have not read it yet, here is the url. Do yourself the favour and read it, it really got me thinking. Now is the moment to act, now is all we have so why do we wait all the time?

I'm at a point in my life that I need to make some major decisions on where I want to be "when I get big" haha and that letter really put me in my place..where do I want to be and how am I going to get there- great read!

Hi Kerilyn.. You are right where I am then, so it sound at least. What really hit me was the question; Why wait? Why not act NOW? It has been so much easier to just put it off until later but no more! I really hope you will get to where you want to get!

Default What would you do if you only had 3 weeks to live?

I also received his newsletter last night. I thought of writing back to him because his letter really inpired me.

So.. Let's ponder the question. What would you do if you only had 3 weeks to live?

I would go play my guitar and sing for open mic night at a coffee house. Something I have wanted to do for a while, but keep thinking I need to practice more.

You are so typical of the type of thing that he is talking about.

True. I have actually been up on stage, but not with a bunch of people just a select few. When I think of actually doing an open mic I feel fear come over me. Just like what he was saying. I can come up with many exscuses as to why I'm not ready. I don't even know what songs I would sing. There is something to be said about preparation, yet if I make it a goal I would probably do it. Ok, now I'm thinking. THanks for the kick.

Solarliving, go for it! You can do everything! I myself would start writing my book and quit the excuses. I would eat all raw and loving every moment of it. I would see my friends and spend time with my mate, taking walks by the beach. I would borrow money for a trip to New Zealand to go and see it one last time and to say goodbye, and if possible I would bring my family.

My goal now is to write my book within 3 months, by christmas it will be published. Aslo I eat raw, all raw from yesterday night.

I read his letter too. I think it is one of the most inspirational articles I've read in a long, long time.

Have something you want to do? Do it!
Someone you need to see? See them!
Somewhere you want to go? Go there!
Something raw you NEED to eat? Eat it!

    Frederic, you are truly inspired.

Default I want to move to Costa Rica!!

Anybody else want to move to Costa Rica after reading it? haha Seriously I fell in love with it! Everything he is doing with his life hit me REALLY hard for some reason. I thought to myself "That's EXACTLY what I want to do with my life." I want to move to Costa Rica and start a health retreat to help people... haha I know, it's a little extreme- but it's the truth! I can't even think about anything else in life that would make me as happy as that would!! when my mom got home that night I told her I was going to move there! She said, "well lets take a vacation there first", fine with me!! I'm so excited!!

-smiles broadly- Why should that be extreme Kerilyn? That is a beautiful dream to have and I sure hope you go for it! And Costa Rica does sound both beautiful and appealing! I've wanted to move to New Zealand for years myself..

Just a little note, his email has this far caused me to eat raw and all raw for three days with ease, grace and a lot of gratitude for my part! And just today I started writing my book, I am actually writing now!

We never will have only 3 months to live because we are never going to get sick!!!!! BUT if I did, I may move to Ireland for the 3 months. My family would probably come with me too... and my best friend.... that would be so cool
