    Congratulations Sam. That is WONDERFUL!

All the best to you and many blessings for a healthy happy pregnancy.

I've heard so many things about morning sickness! I hope you don't get it. I had it with all three, the worst with my last one. I've read that morning sickness can be caused by dehydration and detox. I've also read on Jenny Silliman's site about vitamin C helping emmensly with labor & delivery.

I know you can do it the way you want to. There are no better nutrients for your body than what you can get through fresh, whole natural uncooked food.

Thank you everyone for sharing in my happy news, I appreciate your response

So far the only symptoms have been dreams, my most recent one, I was trying to make friends with someone and offered her a cabbage leaf with a white pepper (no such thing! weird) sitting on top. She put a straw in hers and started drinking juice from the bottom, I was fascinated there was evenjuice in it, she started peeling it open and all this juice poured out from the bottom of it. too weird lol...

Hey Sam~ ran across this article and thought it could be ofinterest to you.

    PREGNANCY AND RAW FOOD BABIES
IS IT SAFE TO CONTINUE TO EAT RAW FOOD IF I'M PREGNANT? AND, HOW DO I RAISE MY BABY ON RAW AND/OR VEGAN FOOD?
I think that whatever is good for adults is good for a child. You may find a lot of helpful information about raw babies and raw pregnancy at the e-magazine, www.vegetarianbaby.com

Unfortunately I have never been pregnant on raw diet. I know that there are several books coming soon written by mothers who have been pregnant on a raw food diet. I will have them on my website as soon as they are in print. You may also get detailed information about raw babies from Jinjee, mother of 4 raw babies at www.thegardendiet.com

The following doctors have written articles on Vegan Babies:
    Michael Klaper MD
    Dean Ornish MD
    McDougall MD
These articles have been published by EarthSave Magazine.
You can find them online: www.earthsave.org and www.vegsource.org Here are some other helpful websites:
peacefulsimplicity@yahoo.com. www.unassistedchildbirth.com. You may, also, want to contact Hygeia Halfmoon or Laura Shanley.
Another good source is a magazine from the United Kingdom, "Get Fresh". You may look at it at www.fresh-network.com. There was an article about pregnancy in a recent issue of this magazine; it was by Karen Knowler.

Victoria, thank you for your encouragement, I only just remembered that hubby was all doting and suspicious a week or two before I knew.

Carmel, you are such a rare gem, thank you so much for taking the time and coming up with so much information for me to browse. You put a big smile on my face this morning. I can't wait to get started. I've read through the garden diet books, I loved Jinjee's journey, I'm really anxious to read more.

Thank you so much Michelle, it's good to see you around again. I think you and Carmel might be right, I'll have to try to write about this experience, even if it turns out not good enough, but great for a keepsake journal.

I've ordered the book Joopie suggested "Raw pregnancy and raising Raw kids"

You've all been so wonderfully helpful encouraging and supportive
Thanks for sharing in my excitement. :)

This one does have some good info in there. You just have to pick around in it to find info pertaining to eating all raw:

congratulations :) I hope all goes well for you. I am currently also 20 to 25 weeks pregnant with baby 2. I am high raw and have not really had a lot of symptoms, there was a little bit of mild nausea at teh beginning but overall I have had a lot of energy - I have 4 friends who are also pregnant and they wonder how I can have energy for everything that I do! Anyway, so far so good. With my first son I was around 80 to 85% raw and had a totally healthy and big baby boy with a labor that only lasted 6 hours total. So it was really good.

I have not come across a lot of sources for raw pregnancy either. I hope you will share if you find anything.

I journal at www.eco-centric.it if you want to see what I have been eating. You have to click on the UK flag and then on blog and then you will find us. Anyway, I have been higher raw with this pregnancy than with the first and have been feeling awesome.
