    Default What do you have growing???

    I was wondering what everyone had growing in their backyards and where they live. I thought it would be interesting to see the differences.

    I live in Georgia.

    I have pear trees
    Peach trees
    Apple trees
    Kudzu (nearby not in my yard)
    Muscadines
    blackberries
    Wild Strawberries
    Polk Salad
    Mint
    Dill
    melons

    and your usual garden verieties when in season such as
    Corn
    tomatoes
    eggplant
    peppers
    squash
    zehuccini
    cabbage
    lettuce
    okra
    cucumbers
    beans
    and so on!


    Growing on my porch and kitchen
    wheatgrass
    sunnies
    buckwheat

    Nobody has ANYTHING growing? I find that hard to believe, LOL.

    humm, can't think of anything else.

    this is what I grow every summer, or grows wild, if you want to know what is currently growing, take out the berries, except strawberries, and take out the cherries, and radishes, everything else is growing now.

    kool beans, RP. How do you get your kiwi's to grow. I have had a hard time with these. I know you must have a male and a female, but where do I go from there?

    It's a bit late in the season here but I still have some stuff in the garden.

    Wax beans
    Tomatoes
    Lavender
    Rosemary
    Parsley
    Mint
    Onions
    Lemon cucumbers
    Peppers

    I also have two apple, two pear and one bing cherry tree and a strawberry patch.

    Earlier in the season I had peas and radishes.

    All my plants are potted and indoor because of the unpredictable weather and hard earth here!

    I have a couple of tomato plants and some herbs and one baby lemon tree. A lot of nice house plants though!

    Well, I just moved in here and the soil in the back yard is..... not conducive to growing anything except WEEDS lol

    So when I get my next check I'm going to get some planter boxes and try again.
    HW: 184 pounds
    SW: 179.2 pounds on May 23rd
    CW: 164.4 pounds (14.8 pounds released!)
    GW1: 170 pounds MET! :p GW2: 160 pounds :cool: Final Goal: 130 pounds
