Thread: Dates and Honey

    Default Dates and Honey

I've just started the raw food diet today and would like to know...

    Dates--- are dried dates raw?
Honey--- is there a difference between raw honey and honey from the supermarket?

Thanks, I have been searching the forums but can't find a direct answer. :)

I wouldn't like to say about the dates as I am not sure, but you have to get honey specifically raw. The honey at most stores isn't raw. I think raw honey is usually either dark and runny, or pale and very thick, but you won't get either in usual stores. If it is raw, it should say somewhere on the label. You'd probably have to go to a health food store (whole foods or something? I live in Wales (UK) so I don't know about shops in America!)

    Hope this helps :)

    Love Seren xXx
