Green power kempo juicer
I wish to juice wheatgrass, veggies and fruits. I also want to make nut butters and ice cream.
I was considering a champion plus a manual wheatgrass juicer.
My research has led me to the green power kempo juicer.
anyone able to feedback on this model?

Its on order!
I have ordered the kempo, it appears to fit my requirements. I cant wait for it to arrive!
I will post my findings. :)

I bought the Champion and Omega at the same time and had a friend bring over her Green power, so I could test them all at the same time side by side...Green Power all the way!!! It was just so much better at juicing and it was very important that it be able to juice wheatgrass. The Kempo did so much better with the wheatgrass than the other two.
It's great for ice cream too

I've heard about the Kempo, that it is one of the best twin gear juicers, for juicing things like greens and wheat grass.
I hope you like it - keep us updated.

luvmyfruit, thats just what I needed to hear, thanks for posting. I juice lots of greens but in a centrifugal juicer, so i'm looking forward to tasting the difference in the quality of the juice.
Sharon in Colorado, it appears to be a good all rounder, so i'm sure it will be fine! Im so excited, Its my largest financial raw investment so far, so im anticipating good things!

kempo update.... Its brilliant!
This is my first twin gear juicer. I am very happy with the results.
I have been juicing, making nut butters, burgers and ice cream all afternoon.
Its easy to assemble, use and clean.
Its quiet, lightweight and compact.
I love it!

Hi Indi, quick question.. What's the clean up like? Quick to make juices? Would you still recommend? If I was to make a couple juices a day and occasionally juice feast would I be dreading cleaning it everytime? Thanks! Rich.

I have a greenstar, and don't really know the difference between that and the greenpower kempo. I've used the greenstar for about 6 years, but now only use it for doing ice cream and homoginizing for burgers and things. Does a Great job for that. The clean up isn't terrible, but it does take some time.
For juicing, I use the Hurom, because it assembles and cleans up in a snap, and juices Everything ... a dream on 'juicy' fruits, does carrots and hard veggies easily (with no pushing), and does greens and wheatgrass as well. However, I've heard that the manual crank wheatgrass juicers are the best there. the downside to the Hurom -- the juice is pulpier, so if you dislike pulp, straining through a nutmilk bag is the answer.
I make several different kinds of juice at the beginning of the day, only rinsing the juicer between kinds, then take it apart and clean it once at the end.
I can't answer the question about cleaning each time with the greenstar, because I used it mainly for veggie juice -- mine doesn't do juicy citrus and soft fruits well, so I didn't use it for that.
Cheers
Terry
