    Default Hello From ATL area

    Hello,

I have been anemic since about age 13, and began going raw on January 7 of this year. I am not completely raw yet, as I am concerned about my anemia. I have greens at every meal (except breakfast which is raw oatmeal with various fruits) and at least one small piece of baked meat.

Anemia is serious, you can lose or worsen your eyesight (and believe me, mine ain't all that great) and the lethargy and headaches are just terrible.

So, I am taking it slow. I am still taking my iron tabs and a multivitamin.

I made my first raw meatloaf entree today and am just thrilled! It tasted as good as Jinjee said it would (she of Jinjee and Storm). I am in my forties and have always taken care of myself.

I saw pictures of Annette Larkins and decided that this is the way that humans are supposed to look. So here I am.

I had severe anemia after running a marathon. Fortunately all of my doctors told me I could still be vegetarian. I added molasses, lots of dried fruit and greens to my diet. I remember being so tired with the anemia.

    Good luck with raw.

Annette Larkins looks so good for her age, she's a living testament that there's only one way we need to eat, RAW
    Prevention rather than Cure!

    Hi Anemicgal!

I'm also new to this forum and hope to find healing through the living foods diet. I'm eating high raw right now, with one vegetarian cooked meal per day. I'm transitioning slowly. I think our bodies are going to be living testaments about the healing properties of this diet and we will make more and more changes as we see these amazing results.

Welcome and I wish you success and healing.

    Claudia :) :) :)
