    Default Herpes

Well I am kind of emabarrassed by this, even though I know I shouldn't be. I am having a breakout of herpes, I also have a canker sore in my mouth. I am so close to taking my lovely Valtrex becasue they are all painful, but I also think they are detox.I am just wondering if anyone else had these breakouts too, and if they made it though with out the medicine. I don't want to stifle a detox, but I just don't know if herpes is something that will go away. Any personal experence would be fabulous!!!

DO NOT TAKE THE DRUGS!!! Go 100% raw. They WILL go away unless you take the drugs...then it will continue on because the drugs will suppress the symptoms, not eliminate the cause. IF the "lovely" drugs eliminated the cause you wouldn't still be experiencing this.

Check what you eat before an outbreak. Bread? Items with sugar? If yes, they NEED to be eliminated.

I work with quite a few people with herpes. Just like the "common cold", it's an immunity challenge. Build the immunity with good food, eliminate the challenge.

I agree with Revvell. I don't have any personal experience with genital herpes, and I've had very, VERY few cold sores in my lifetime, and none in years. But I have very strong feelings towards prescriptions and doctors now, just as of the past few months. I hate seeing my mom excited because her cholesterol levels went down because of taking Lipitor, instead of changing eating habits.

It probably is detox, and as long as you feed your body what it needs, it should be over in no time. :) good luck & well wishes.

When I was younger I used to get canker sores regularly (which if I'm not mistaken is only a very slightly different virus), then, in several years leading up to raw, I didn't get them... but then when I went 100% raw last year, I got several "tingly" spots and small bumps which made me think they were coming back. I stayed raw and that was the end of that. I blamed it on detox. I've had no problems since then.

Thanks! Yeah, I thought it was detox, but I have been preached at about it being viral so much that I was just hoping someone had a similar experience.

I've been dealing with herpes for a while -- Most will say it isn't curable, but of course it is possible to cure anything. Herpes is a VIRUS, so like all viruses it can only survive in an anerobic condition. The answer to that is flooding your body with oxygen, both internally and externally. Raw foods is great, but I personally have not found it to be enough. Daily green juice, avoiding foods high in arginine (nuts!), alkaline foods are all essential. Aerobic exercise. Also externally applying hydrogen peroxide and DMSO is incredible. Use CAUTION though. DMSO is a SOLVENT. So know what you're doing with it... I recommend getting a small spray bottle and using that. DMSO will take anything present on your skin into your bloodstream, similar to an injection. Taking zinc and B-12 will usually help, because if you have a virus in your body you are probably deficient in these. Stress is also a huge factor with herpes, so yoga and deep breathing can be really helpful.

Put some diaper rash cream with zinc oxide and they will go away very quickly and if you put it on as soon as you feel tingling, they won't even show up. Forget dangerous drugs.I used it on the lips, i don't know if it would work for genital herpes, but probably would - it is the same kind of virus, isn't it?
