Thread: Juicers

    Default Juicers

Can someone tell me a good inexspensive juicer that will do the job and still give me nutrients. I am not really 100% into it so I don't want to buy a green star just yet. What about the Jack Lane or any other suggestions. I want to do carrot and other juices.

I think that any twin gear juicer would be the best. The quality of the juice from them is better and they deliver more nutrients.

We have a Jack Lalanne juicer and I love it! It's not TOO hard to clean up, but the pulp get everywhere!! The bone-dry demo on tv...yeah, totally not true. But it's a good juicer. I'm just using it mainly because we've had it for years and no one used it. So I didn't want to buy a new one.

Natalia Rose recommends a Breville in her book: The Raw Food Detox Diet, so I bought that one. It is recommended that you initially buy one that is inexpensive to see if you will stick with it. This one, Breville Juice Fountain Model JE900 cost me $99 (Canadian) and it works just fine. Seems to be able to juice anything I throw at it like the entire stalk of a broccoli or a couple of nice thick juice celery stalks (I'm getting thirsty!!)

I juice a tall glass 2 - 3 times a day and have been doing it for a couple of months.

I just bought an Omega and love it but I started with the Jack Lalanne and it was great! Totally served the purpose and is now my back up juicer.

Courage does not always roar, it is sometimes a quiet voice at the end of the day saying I will try again tomorrow.
