As some of you may have heard, a few of us from this board are running the Chicago Marathon in October as a means to help acquaint the general public with raw food. We'll have t-shirts, signs, and budget allowing, I'd like to do advertising. Won't you please consider making a donation to us? Every little bit helps!

as of this morning, 43 people have looked at this thread, but no one has donated. If each of those people had donated just $5, we'd have another $215 right now.

Folks, if you believe in the power of raw food, and wish you could help others become aware, please donate!

We'll be running 26.2 miles to help others, but we need funding for advertising and publicity, and of course perks to attract more team members, because the bigger the team, the more notice people will take to our cause.

Yesterday I had every intention of donating after I had finished reading all the messages first, but of course by the time I had finished ,my mind had travelled elsewhere.
Today I have taken my pen out and written it down

Well I have completely failed to make a donation. Paypall have hijacked my email address and I can not make donations of purchases from any site that uses paypall.
I click on the visa card option and fill everything in and then they tell me that I have a paypall account so can not transact using that email address. I tried to buy e books from The Raw Family website some time ago and have failed on other sites as well.
I contacted them last week asking them if I could cancel the account but they will only do it online and I need a password.
After many emails they gave me a number to call to get my password and I called it and found it was a premium rate number so I hung up.
I made a formal complaint last friday and had not heard anything by today so said I would report them to the Financial Regulator and that got a response.
Rant Over.
Sorry that I could not donate but would be happy to if there is another way.

I'm sorry sport... what a bum experience with them! As of now, I don't have any other way set up, but if I do later, I'll let you know.

I may get it sorted next week and even if I do I am still going to report them.
I still want those ebooks from The Raw Family.
