Default Body type and raw foods

I was reading another thread on here and decided to research eating for your body type. I realize there are many different ways of classifying, but this was the way in which I found the most results. I think its called Ayurveda or something. Any way, using this it really seems I am the body type Vata Dosha.... But I could definately be incorrect, it is just a guess. and also not necessarily currently, just in the norm. I don't know if I am making any sense...
I seem to have some Pitta as well though.
There were many different websites that said different things. Here are a few sites:
    http://www.holisticonline.com/ayurveda/ayv_home.htm
    http://ayurveda-foryou.com/treat/foodplan.html
    http://www.allayurveda.com/know_charact_ddosha.htm

Any thoughts, suggestions...any other ways of telling your body type and how to achieve better health using it?

    thanks!
...and sorry if this is confusing, I am confused myself

    Yes I have.

When I recently went for my first colonic the Naturpath felt Raw may not be the best for me as my Ayurveda "type" needed a lot of protein.

I told her how I felt raw and she did not try to force the issue but was very interested.

I have not studied it but i am awear of it.

gabriel cousens' book, conscious eating, goes into great detail about determining your dosha and how to apply it to a raw food diet.

    Default Body type

When I went to Mercola's office a few months ago they told me I was a mixed body type. I guess that's the easiest - when it comes to foods. Well the diet plan they gave me was still way restrictive; only eat this type of protein with this type of carb and that type of protein with that type of carb.

I love this eating raw - I eat anything at anytime and I sometimes feel I'm mixing strange things together, but itÂ’s delicious. And let me tell you I feel wonderful!

Before "going raw" I almost brought the Eat Right For Your Type book. I'm really glad I didn't and picked up a copy of Detox Your World instead... I was reading either Diet For A New America or Food Revolution and he went into quite a bit of detail about blood type diets and how they don't work. I think it's kind of sad how we have all this confusion and mis-match of information out there... a lot of it sneaks into our belief systems by hiding behind half truths
