    Default Dehydrating in an oven

I don't have a dehydrator, and don't plan to buy one for a while. Am happy just eating veggies and fruit and nuts without any preparation. But I think maybe when the weather gets colder, I may want to have more sophisticated food.

It is possible to dehydrate in an oven, isn't it? Can anyone give me any tips on this? Thanks in advance!

And shoot!!!! I've just realised that the 118 degrees that raw foodists speak of is obviously FAHRENHEIT. That would make about 50 degrees Celsius.

I wish the whole world would use the same measurements. It gets so confusing.

I know this is an oldish thread but just wanted to say that enzymes are killed at 40 degrees celcius.
