    Hey Raw Strawberry,
Thanks for the link. That is neat that there are stores in all the places I am likely to visit! I haven't been back to the Okanagan for a few years, and the last time was in the winter. It will be good to get to some of those fruit stands again, or even go right to an orchard. Talk about God's country! Where are you? At the Coast? I doubt I will get out there this time, but maybe in the Fall. I might need some directions to places out there. Are there any Raw restaurants there?
    Have a great day!

What a nice experience. Thanks for sharing. I'm going camping this weekend and was kinda getting worried as to what to eat/bring.

Your experience made me feel more postive about this weekend.

I went camping a month ago with my SAD family and I was in paradise eating all the yummy raw fruits and veggies all day and they all had stomach aches and were sick of washing dishes and having to figure out ways to cook everything. Yuck. It comes to a point where you wonder why people don't see that we weren't meant to do this to our food. Look how easy it is to eat an apple in the wilderness and then look at how hard it is to cook a hamburger. Look at all the tools needed. Anyway, yes, camping on raw is wonderful!

Yes, lol, my prep time was like 30 seconds or less. Hmmm, what do I want out of the cooler for dinner, watermelon or strawberries? Their prep time took hours fixing rice and chicken.

I volunteered to make some coleslaw for our rafting camping trip. Doe placed a list of condiments on here and the mayonaise is out of this world. I could eat raw coleslaw everyday. It is just that good! I am going to make a big bowl with mayo and one with raw mayo.

Thanks for inspiration because we are going to camp this month. I don't worry anymore, because now my diet is very simple - I don't even make salads anymore, because I am trying to stop using oils(concentrated food) and salt. The only thing is I will miss my green smoothies, but just in casre I will take a blender, because the bathrooms in the camp might have electric outlet. GAIM sells hand cranked blender - did anyone used it? Do they really work?

I don't know what GAIM is, but I got one called a Vortex. It is a pretty neat idea, but unless you have a real muscleman in your entourage, it is just too much work to make a smoothie. I don't know if it would ever get it smooth enough even if someone had the patience. I think they are meant mostly for already-liquid drinks at tailgate parties. My DH was pretty ticked off at me spending $80 or whatever it was and now it is in the storage unit. New and in its box, tried only a couple of times. He is very muscular (and determined) and couldn't get it to work well. I should sell it on ebay sometime.
    Have a great day!
