Mine goes in the garbage disposal. I know. I'm terrible. I should freeze it and take it to my parents' for their garden when I go. I just don't think about it. Actually I didn't think about doing that at all until I read this thread, lol. Sometimes it goes in the garbage. Then I figure it'll compost at the dump.
ETA: I have EcoSense garbage bags that degrade when exposed to heat.
