I voted outside. When you get to 54 there is not a lot inside that you have not explored.
That does not mean that I am not still evolving but it is only in little ways.

Interesting - I'd like to bump this up to see if we could get more results.

    I voted outer...

This is because I put my energy and heart into something (this diet, my dreamcatchers, my education)... and it ends up teaching me a LOT about myself, which in turn helps me to grow :)

    Very cool poll!

I think there should have been a selection for all of the above, but I put outer. I love to read and study new things and then meditate on how that it can help me in my life and/or others and how those things make me feel.

    Sharon,

Sorry, I don't understand the question?

Don't we all grow from our inputs (our environment)?
How does one grow inner vs outer?

I guess I need some more education.

    Cheers,

There were 29 views but only 4 votes! I'm a little surprised, but maybe like Fiddler, some people didn't understand.

Inner - looking inside yourself and getting into your psychology. Going to workshops, reading about psychology, the mind, meditation, what makes you tick, etc.

Outer - looking outside yourself either with spirituality or a mentor, etc. Praying, focusing on others, giving, etc.

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I get it now

I vote all of the above LOL... there is an equal amount of nourishment from outer sources as well as from my own mind, at least for me :)

    Awesome question Sharon!

I voted inner b/c I know that's what it comes down to but I tend to lean towrads outer first then work towrads inner. Perhaps b/c I need the "phsical" element to [see] what improvements I can make until I can work diligently with the more intricate inner issues.

These days I am getting quicker at looking towards my inwardness for the solutions.

    :)

WOW, Sharon, I guess I missunderstood the question, I voted inner, because I thought you were referring to inner work, for the soul, the spirit and the mind, vs outter work, the physical body.

I read daily meditations, work with my spirituality daily, and never do anything for my physical body except feed it, and allow it to eliminate, that's about it. LOL

But I'm always reading some book, website, or meditating, LOL

Working on one's self is never finished, as far as I'm concerned, anyway, you know I'm a spiritual Pisces, with a Virgo rising, so spiritual and nit picky about self, that's me!!!

    Thanks for the responses.

The key word was 'searching' ... I see people searching in so many different ways. Not for physical healing, but for spiritual wellness and growth.
