Thread: Detox question

  1. #1

    Default Detox question

well, I am not ALL raw yet, not even close, but since I have added sprouted foods now, I feel like my body immediatly began detoxifying....sweating, break-outs, etc.

Is it possible that adding the good foods could start this even with me still eating bread and some cooked veggies????

    tia!

PS what does SAD stand for???

    yes yes yes

I never used to sweat much even though I was VERY overweight and now that I am eating Raw? Bingo! What is that? a real bead of sweat on my brow.

My body is releasing lots of things. I have found that I need to bathe more often and I dry brush every day even sometimes 2X if I feel I need to (this is AWESOME if you wanna help your skin get rid of stuff faster). I get itchy and breakout. Then I feel cold and clammy for a little while.

All these things pass but you can't rush it or be too surprised that our bodies are throwing off our old ways.

Accept it as part of your journey and have a Green smoothie to celebrate!

I had so many deep soulful cries during my emotional detox! That's normal. No worries! It feels really good after the releases, I think.

I'm still emotionally fragile even now, but I'm still in my second month of raw so I just deal with it.

On my 6th day raw the first time I had a major emotional breakdown and I just about quit raw because it was so intense. I got through it and EVERYTHING was so much different! I really started to heal and think clearly about soooo much. It was/is soooo great!

    Default hmmm

Up your intake of fiber, Ground flax seeds, pysillium capsule, etc. If you are detoxing, if you make sure your colon is being sweeping ( which is what fiber does) then your body wont feel as bad if youre getting rid of all those toxins, other wise it will come out on your skin, feeling bad, your body is trying to excrete all this mess. I swear, after learning that if you would just make sure you have enuff fiber, all that pain and irritation wouldnt be so bad, because it's all leaving through the bum. If you have a slow colon, more fiber helps anyway.
