    Default Finally losing my hunger...

After being raw for quite awhile now, I am to the point of not being hungry all that much anymore. I just think that's weird. It's almost as if it happened overnight. I used to eat a ton of raw foods - I'd have a huge party platter just loaded with salads and eat the whole thing in one setting. And I'd eat a ton of fruit all day long. But now I'm to the point that it's like I'm only eating two meals a day - fruit for lunch and salad for dinner - but only if I'm hungry. Otherwise, I just don't eat and enjoy my purified water instead. Right now, it's been 19 hours since I've eaten and I'm STILL not hungry. I know in the cooked world they say you should eat every few hours to keep your metabolism revved, etc but that's when I eat a lot and am hungry a lot - if I keep on eating every 2 to 3 hours...anyon else experience this?

My experience so far is I sometimes am hungry all day long and am eating all day long, then other days I am content with just a smoothie for breakfast a slice of melon at lunch and I'm done.

    Thumbs up

Oh yes, I would guess this is typical for a raw foodist. Every week that goes by (I'm at 10 weeks now) I'm less hungry. This is a very good sign. Only when our body is fully nourished does our hunger cue diminish.

    Cheers,
    Eve
