Oh my gosh--where do I begin? Going raw has taken away my lower back pain and that thing I had in the back of my leg that I got from running. It was a tight pain that ran from the back of my knee through the middle of the back of my leg all the way up to my butt cheek. Runners know what I'm talking about. I had it for a whole year! Then once I went raw, it has completely dissappeared! And I no longer get cramps during my periods. Wow! Who knew eating raw could make such dramatic changes!

And a comment to those in this post who said that if you don't think about the pain, you won't feel it. That is really true. During my marathon training, I mentally blocked out the pain in my legs and ignored the blisters forming on my feet as I ran. It's so true, your mind can be a very powerful thing if you channel your thoughts in the right direction. Being raw, my mind is also stronger than it was before raw. For real! ;)

    Hi Gaelen!

Way to go! I hope raw will heal you as it did with me! I too have also just invested in wheatgrass, figured I would add it to my morning smoothies as the greens as I have no juicer and cannot afford one right now. Do please let us know how you come along!

Veganman, I am sorry to hear that! Have you had pain in your joints before? If then there is the chance of detox but I really do not have a clue. I hope it will get better soon though!

High raw solved chronic joint pain that I had beem experiencing due to a car wreck in 2001. Iwas run off the road inot a tree. The tree didn't budge. The car was totalled.

Eggs and dairy don't bother me, but let me eat even one chicken nugget and I'm done. let me eat a whole serving of any meat or a grease food item fried behind meat ( like fast food french fries) and I'm done. It's llike having gout in both ankles, 5 toes, both elbows and one wrist. Warm showers give enough temporary relief to get the kinks out and start the day but the pain is only completely eliminated with days of ample hydration and NO MEAT or overly processed foods.

It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.

Yes, the joints in my hand were so swollen that I thought I was going to have to quit as a massage therapist and now the pain is gone.
