    Smile I finally did it

    Hi Everyone,

Well, I finally did it. I'm getting out of the rat race. I told the C.E.O. I'm done. As of Columbus Day I will not be a part of the group. I don't want to play the game anymore. All bets are off. They will give me a financial package and I'll tie up any loose ends. Fair enough.

I feel great!!!!!!!! My lifestyle as a raw foodist has played a part in who I am and what I want to do with the rest of my life. It's time to take the STRESS out of the equation and move forward toward a more meaningful goal.

Some of my friends say I should open a raw institute here in Connecticut.

I say lets leave that up to Alissa Cohen.

I already have a few irons in the fire. One opportunity is promising with a European automaker. Very cool.

I can't tell you the peace and calm I feel while living the raw lifestyle. I truly feel closer to my family and friends and to the world in which I live because of raw.

I don't want to get too "deep" but it's how I feel. I've never been the guy who walks on the edge. I'm quite conservative, but the change I've made both emotionally and physically through raw has brought me to this point.

I can't thank all my raw friends enough for your support and kindness over the last few months.

I'll keep you posted on my progress.

    Peace........ a big PEACE,

    M.B.

Raw is about so much more than food in my opinion - its also that feeling you get when you make 'raw - alive' decisions and start living more alive too

(And I don't think you can go 'too deep'

That's fantastic. I left a job that was sucking the life out of me directly from my soul! What a fantastic feeling when you leave something like that!

    Smile Lighting up my life

    Hi Everyone,

    Thanks for the nice words.

I think Alissa hit the nail on the head. Getting back to my true self.

When I was younger I thought about the ministry, but I went the business route instead. It was all about climbing the ladder.

I'm not a deeply religious person now, but I feel it's time to move on. I would consider myself a gentle person, but at my current job I needed to be pitbull at times. I also dealt with many problems regarding the staff and thier social and work related errors. It just seems like everyday I'd have a list of issues to tackle but something else would come up and I'd never get to the list. Frustrating to say the least.

Raw has given me an inner calm. I'm much more relaxed and I can't have that attitude at my current job. Now I'll see if I can apply the new me to a new job.

    Peace,

    M.B.

MB! What an inspiration! I've been struggling with this too. The 60 hour work weeks and endless stress are getting too much to handle. The ONLY thing that's getting me through is raw. But "raw" is more than just food, it's your lifestyle and choices you make for your quality of life.
