Thread: Some words

    Default Some words

How do we relax when our body's need to? How do we find balance? How do we find ourselves? All this addictions we hang onto cause we can't face the pain. All this judgement and hurtful words being spilled like drops of rain! To give this love you seek you must love yourself. All this confusion, we're told what we should be, but the answer lies deep inside the place we're most scared to see. What is right from wrong? Who means good or harm? If we go on in life focusing on the nagetive we are creating this pain we can't seem to leave.

    Thank you for listening!

Thank you for appreciating my writting! It's hard sometimes, in life, and when people don't hear you or see you! I love to write about things or I get stuck if I hold in my feelings.

    Here are some more words:

    Unwrapped from society
    We stand alone
So we choose to be a clone oh
    We live to learn
We follow what was taught without a second thought
    This seems the only route
Well IÂ’m tired of these lies
    ItÂ’s time to live
    ItÂ’s now I can breathe
No more lockÂ’s with hidden keys
In this world I am now free

    Where are you now
    Have you listened?
    Deeeepppp
    Deep inside
    Nowhere else will you find
This peace that you cry for
Only deep-deep inside can you be free

    All this sacrificing-oh
    Just to feel complete
But you never look inside at what is really deep
All these people saying what they want you to be
Never get a chance to stop and think
    Is this me
    Now IÂ’m crying
Cause IÂ’ve caused myself this pain
Now I feel like IÂ’m dying
    Now I can feel
    I can breathe
    Without you
    IÂ’m free

ItÂ’s this poison that has ripened the tree
But it leaves you hollow and empty
    All this killing
WeÂ’re taught is a true belief
    Silenced to peace
    WeÂ’ve gone so deep
    Climbing to the surface
    You have to look beneath
    At the hidden
    At the unthinkable
    You will see

    Thank you!

Beautiful poem, dark but true.. We strive to be what others want us to or we strive for some ideal set by the media.. There is still freedom though, as you say, on the inside and it is the inside that really matters!

That's a good thing too! Without the truth, then what do we have?

    That's a very good question!

    Letting go of things
    Wanting to hold on
    Times of complete lost memory
It feels it's all going by

    I'm standing in this world
    Cring to myself
Looking out, and see nothing that will help me
What am I living for in this world?
    Is it lies or truth
    I've lost this control
    Over who I am
    Who I knew

    I'm letting go of pain
    Letting go of past injuries
    Letting go of my breaks
    The things that destroy me
    Looking for a place
    Where I can be safe
    With no judgement or disoprove
Where freedom is always there my next move

I just wrote it, so it's rough. I thought I'd share it anyway!

Great advice, and just what you are saying. Bravo! Keep listening.
