I'm new to juicing, but have been using my food processor and dehydrator to make vegetable blends for my birds (these are hugely expensive to buy). I thought that dehydrating pulp could give a great source for dried vegetables and fruits. My question: does pulp contain sufficient nutrients to be worthwhile? By the way, the obvious solution of simply chopping up fresh veggies and fruits for them does't work. They simply won't eat it. Any words of wisdom about the nutritive value of pulp will be greatly appreciated by me, five breeding pairs of Zebra Finches, and a variable number of babies..
