    One of my two favorites:

    water
    baby spinach
    cucumber
    mint
(sometimes I'll add a pear, sometimes not... if I don't add the pear for mild sweetness, I'll sometims throw in some savory herbs)

    and my other favorite:
    coconut water
    spinach
    one banana
    one lemon, peeled
    a chunk of ginger root
    spirulina or chlorella
sometimes a cup of berries if I have them

    Yum!

I LOOOOOVE Green Smoothies. Don't follow recipes. Just use whatever is available, so occasionally I have to choke one down, but no matter, it's all good!

LOL sounds like my first one... Lots of lettuce (only "greens" I had that weren't in a can.. ) and grapes...

I don't recommend that combination.. Just FYI.. lol But um.. Yeah. It worked. :)

I lurve me some green smoothies!

1 apple, 1 banana, 2-3 socks of Kale chopped, 1 tsp of Barley Greens, 1 tsp flax oil and half oz of Agave(raw). This was sooo yummy... just made for first time today.

I've figured out you can put kale in just about anything.

My two favs right now are pineapple, cantaloupe, banana and kale; and almond milk with banana, vanilla and carob if I'm in a chocolate mood.

But I pretty much start out with kale as my base green and go from there. Haven't tried any veggie based ones yet, but DD#1 swears by pineapple, celery, and cucumber. I have some Crenshaw melon that *tastes* like cucumber & cantaloupe, so I may give that one a whirl.
