    Default I'm becoming a Grandma!

I am 43 years old and am going to be a grandmother to a baby boy soon. We are all so excited to say the least. He is 4 days late allready and we are waiting with bated breath.

Wanted to say, I naturally look younger but people keep telling me I look about 25 and my skin glows and looks great. I really have to attribute some of this to going raw and eating lots of fruits and veggies. It just makes you glow. I am so excited about raw and what it is doing to my body and how I am feeling. Sometimes I feel like I could conquer the world.

Raw has also helped me with my attitude and general outlook on life. Life is better and better now and it just keeps going. The long term ups and downs from so many years is just gone!!!!! It just keeps confirming to me that it is 99.9% of what you eat and how you look at life.

For everyone out there, keep going raw no matter how long it takes. If you fail, get back up and keep going. Life is good and I am now a grandma.

Isn't it wonderful to not only look so young, but to FEEL so young. You'll be able to spend a lot of quality time with your grandbaby (grandbabies).

I'm always told I look too young to be a grandmother, and I immediate say I'm 52 years old (I'm 49 in my photo to the left, you can see a current picture in my journal area). I want people to know you can look and act/feel young at an older, more mature age.

What a great testimony we grandmothers/grandfathers can be to other people. For some reason, when I was growing up I thought by the time I was in my 50's I would have short curly grey hair, lots of wrinkles and walking slow.

So enjoy letting people "think" you are younger than you are, but be sure to let them know how old you really are and hopefully that will inspire them to want to learn "your secret"

Congratulations grandma Enoy your new grandchild. Enjoy life. Enjoy health. Enjoy eating raw.

Congratulations Grandma! I am also going to be a Grandma for the first time in late September, early October to a little boy. I am so excited I can hardly wait! And like you, people say all the time I don't look old enough to be a Grandmother, and I say "thank you!"

Like Helen I also thought years ago that at this age I'd have gray hair and be in poor health, walking slowly and having wrinkles. But nope, not this gal!

Enjoy this very special time in your life!

    Default Yes, Congratulations!

Have you decided yet what he will call you? I had a "Grandma" and a "Nonie" (pronounced nah'-nee). My son was the first grandchild of my stepmom and he called her "Namaw" -- which is a lot like what my Aunt is called by her grandchildren: "Mamaw."
    Cheers,
